being intentional {free download}

i was listening to the radio the other day when a news report came on stating that teachers are the most under-appreciated of any career out there. gah! isn’t that sad? the people who help us shape and form our children to be responsible, well-meaning, educated adults are under-appreciated? what is wrong with this picture?!

whether it’s entirely true or only slightly true, it’s still sad. sad for so many reasons that i could delve into, but i’m not going to. we’ll just leave it at that. it’s sad. it’s more than sad. it’s pathetic.

so in light of this fact, and the fact that lover and a lot of our friends are teachers and i see first hand how much time and effort is truly put into being a teacher…AND that school starts monday {we start early in AZ}, i thought i would kick the school year off being intentional, going into it with the intent of appreciating, of being thoughtful and preparing for future acts of appreciation. and of course i’m hoping you will too!

i created this simple {and fun! isn’t it cute?! :)} *meet your teacher* form for you to give your teacher to fill out on the first day of school. once he/she has filled it out, bring it home and put it in a safe place so it’s easy to find. enter his/her birthday into your calendar, so you can help them celebrate by bringing them their favorite treat {which you now know thanks to this simple page!} surprise them with their favorite coffee if you see they’ve had a rough week…you get the picture. use this little sheet as your resource to a more appreciative year!

click here to download your free *meet your teacher* printable and start your school year off intentionally! i sure hope you do. it’s a simple way to encourage and enhance the lives of the teachers of our children!

Kathy - That is the cutest ever! I love it!

Your Mama - Your “Meet the Teacher” is so awesome and I agree, teachers are underpaid and underappreciated in our country. We ask a lot of them to give everything they have to educate the future of our country! What a great way to show a teacher throughout the year that they are appreciated and thanked. You are so thoughtful and kind. I love you!
