daily dose * forgetful

you know you’re tired/it’s been a long week/it’s the holiday season when you suddenly realize it’s SATURDAY and NOT friday like you thought; which means yesterday was FRIDAY and NOT thursday like you thought; which means yesterday was daily dose day and today is NOT; and you do all this realizing late on saturday night, which ends up meaning that your friday daily dose is actually being delivered on sunday…*sigh* welcome home tired-frazzled-caffeine-induced self…i’ve missed you! 🙂 sometimes i think i may be a good candidate down the road for losing my mind…ha!

and now, a forgotten, yet remembered, daily dose!

a few projects that have gone on this week…

the bug jar…at least that’s what sunshine called it. while turbojet ensured us it was *just glitter, not bugs sunshine* meant to distract and calm and focus my little ones…

…yeaaaaaaaah, that happened. for like 2 minutes.

a river runs through it. made out of tinfoil, placed on an incline, hose cranked on, rubber duckies at hand and BOOM SHAKA LAKA! instant entertainment!

you’re probably tired of saucer images. but here’s more sweet pea in her saucer images. i can’t help it. i love, heart, adore her expressions in it.

i see wonder,

and inquisitiveness,

and fear {ha!},

followed by concern,

and my favorite, joy!

you see what i mean? you might as well brace yourselves for more saucer images in the future because i’m not seeing them going away any. time. soon.

we saw santa this weekend…sweet pea had to show the boys how it’s done…they were SUPER tentative/shy/scared. turbojet ensured me he would simply mail a letter to the north pole and forget the whole meeting santa deal. finally, we convinced him to at least stand nearby for a picture and give him a high five!

you wanna know how i know they were scared? they are actually looking at the camera at THE. SAME. TIME. and it’s not just this picture, it’s about ten that i had to choose from. believe me when i say, that. never. happens.

lover’s grandma came for a quick visit this weekend as well. you can see her in the picture above. it was fun to have her here and to let the boys introduce her to their craziness!

i’m going to call it a night. it’s been a long day. a long weekend for that matter. ernie is giving me a run for my money. you’ll hear more about ernie later this week.

ciao for now!
