owen made my job easy tonight as i snuggled up with him in his bed (yes, we still have to lay with our 3, almost 4, year old each and every night until he falls asleep…but after you read this next part, i think you’ll agree with me that it’s totally worth it).
just before falling asleep, in his most sleepiest sleepy voice my little wild man, my turbo jet, my goober, my lovebug says to me,
“mama, i love it when you rest with me in my bed.”
and for those whispered little words, i am grateful.
Your Mama - Like Mama like son. I remember snuggling you every night for a number of years and still that is one of my favorite memories. Nothing like snuggling your warm little babies.
