my life as i live it . a daily dose

there have been quite a few days this past week where i have found myself lacking in all things technology, out of cell service, out of the range of any wi-fi connections and generally living a life devoid of all things requiring ‘service’ in any way-shape-or-form.

i have been un-plugged.

this means i’ve had to unwind, relax and jump out of the world wide web and into the wide, wide, world, which has been oh-so-very-nice.  initially, it’s hard to shake the feeling that i need to check my email or update my facebook status or read up on my favorite blogs or snap that amazing picture to upload to instagram right then and there, but then i hip check myself back into reality and realize…

  • i’m really not that important {*gasp*}
  • emails can be answered later {really, they can}
  • blog posts can be put on hold {or, *another gasp*…not read at all}
  • and my status update?  living. life. baby. oh, yeah.

so this weeks daily dose.  filled with life, in the wide, wide world baby…

there are two things sunshine says right now that i can’t get enough of :

  • ‘member instead of remember {i.e. ‘member the broken tractor?} and,
  • “where is ’em?” when looking for something he can’t find {too cute not to correct, eh?}
