on the road again! this time a short scoot up the road to boulder…something i think emmitt was thankful for since his look in this picture gives a *sigh* after we placed him in his carseat yet again…
and what could we entertain ourselves with in boulder, but a nature hike, in one of the healthiest cities in america! the weather was gorgeous & owen was intrigued with all the activity on the river from kayakers to bikers to kids launching themselves into the river via rope. i love how everything is so exciting to owen, whether he’s seen it before or not it amuses him & brings joy to the rest of us!
and i just have to post this next picture because anyone who knows my son, knows that this picture is so completely opposite his personality & disposition it is comical!
hiking was followed by dinner at the park, mickey d’s (what else) for the boys & noodle’s & company & wine for the big kids…

stacey - i know barbara! we have been spoiled with the weather here in the rockies! we leave for home tomorrow & am not looking forward to the heat!
Barbara King - Is that a sweater I see on you?! Good thing you’re not in the Valley of the Sun! I’m in Lakeside, so it’s only in the 80’s in the daytime and low 60’s at night. Maurin and babies are coming up for the week next week to cool off since Kyle will be at football camp.
