just us, in montana

if you’re new here, you may not know that i LOVE montana. i grew up there. i miss there. i go there. i pretend i live there. etc. thankfully, luckily, gratefully, wonderfully, lover’s work schedule {teacher} lets us spend LOTS of time there {we pretend we’re retired} which is SUCH a blessing because i SO. VERY. BADLY. want to live there. this is the part where i work on my patience because patience is a virtue and lalala, and i know the perfect time for us to send the circus northward for good is coming nearer. when? i don’t know. but nearer, it must be {tells herself over and over in her head}.

besides the simple fact that our families live there, there’s just so much to love about the area. i’ll spare you ALL the details, but really, it’s wonderful. the community. the buy local mindset. the SEASONS. the coffee shops {swoon}. the mountains. the rural-ness just around the bend. the restaurants. the breweries. most local. all wonderful. hmmmmm…that might explain why it’s SO expensive to live there. damn. and so hard to get a job there. damn.

…wanna see? bits of our Christmas-y wonderland mixed in with mouthfuls of the circus. of course!

did you like that epic new year’s bonfire at the end? yeah? pretty sure that only happens in montana. when it’s less than 10 degrees outside…huzzah!

peace!
