daily dose * drought

the mere fact that i’m sitting here in the dark at 11:08 at night about to break the daily dose drought gives my soul a want for celebration {it’s the little things}. the blog drought has been dragging along for a number of reasons…but namely, it’s summer and i’m having a blast enjoying the heck out of these beautiful montana days {urges you to put western montana on your bucket list}

but enough is enough is enough, and it’s time i get back into my bloggy groove! it’d be torture to drag you through all the images i’ve taken in the past few weeks {*cough*thousands*cough}, so i’ll select random favorites and stories for now and do a big slideshow at the end of the summer for those of you who are interested. how’s that? good? good. 🙂

let’s break this drought, it’s go time! hear that? it’s raining…

DAILY DOSE!

we spent some time on orcas island visiting lover’s grandma. what a gorgeous place! the boys had a blast finding shells and crabs at the beach, each one a treasure. one of the best parts? sunshine calling the barnacles, carnivals. for me, they will forever be carnival covered shells!

contemplative.

being a photographer is a wonderful job {duh}, with only one teeny tiny downfall…the photog {in this case, me} is NEVER in the picture. never. what a treat when we went to music on main and my photog friend erin swiped my camera and snapped a few pictures of me with my babies!

{sweet pea has impeccable balance! she wants so badly to walk. the mechanics are currently eluding her. anyone want to take bets on when she walks? :)}

this one makes me laugh! i whip my hair back and forth. i whip my hair back and forth.

turbojet had a great time. NOT. i’m sad about that. it seems we’ve entered into an age where not everything he used to think was fun, is fun anymore…wah! my baby’s not a baby anymore 🙁 🙁

sigh.

sweet pea has grown so much on this trip. two months is a lifetime in baby years. serious face. we arrived with a new crawler and will leave with a girl ready to walk {oh, so very close!} it’s crazy what a month or two will do! we’ve also enjoyed the return of the crazy {and kinda freaky} baby smile.

crazy, crazy baby.

oh, look! i’m adorable again, or at least less freaky 😉

good buddies. or double trouble, however you choose to look at it 😉

the best part of coming to montana for the summer is our peeps. our family. our friends. i’m already missing them just as we’ve missed our arizona friends all. summer. long. leaving will be bittersweet. i’m already trying to brainstorm more ways to stay connected long distance. i’m taking suggestions; if you have ideas, leave them below.

my boys are fascinated with this video! have you seen it? it’s every child’s dream…to see their toys come to life! watch it, it’s incredible!

there is SO INSANELY much more going on in our life right now. so many things and images to share. but on that note, i’m going to zoom! off to bed with the hopes of sharing with you sooner than later!

cheers!
