directionless & hashtagging #somebodystopme

sometimes, i sit down to blog, and i don’t have a direction. i love pouring my heart out when something’s on my mind in the hopes that someone might feel encouraged or thankful they’re not alone. but tonight?

i’m directionless. so that leaves us with life. good old, sweet old, wonderful old, life.

was your  Easter good? great? grand? did you consume mass amounts of sugar along with your kids {*cough*idid*cough}…{what? who said that?!} ok, ok, it was me. i think my weekend diet was coffee, candy and ham. a weird, yet satisfying, combination. some of you can relate to that i hope. {oh for the love! someone ate ham and candy and coffee this weekend, i just know it. fess up.}

{see what happens when i have no direction? i ramble. i digress. i get uber-dorky. which, seriously, is that even possible? to get more dorkier? and let’s not even talk about my grammar. oui.}

i committed photographer sin on Easter sunday by successfully NOT photographing my kids in their Easter clothes. yes, my good people. if anyone’s keeping score, that’s 1 for FAIL. 0 for YOU ROCK. bahaha! oh well. sometimes not having it all together is more fun. at least…that’s what i keep telling myself.

{SIDENOTE : i’m hereby instituting the use of hashtags in blog posts. because they let you read my mind and #theymakemelaughevenifnooneelsethinksimfunny #baha}

alrighty then. even though i did screw up capturing the circus all dressed up, i will say i DID attempt to get a picture of all three of them together MULTIPLE times throughout the weekend. all were miserable failures. miserable? that’s a little harsh. maybe not miserable, but definitely, circus-y.

here’s the proof and probably the real reason i didn’t bother busting out my camera again because let’s face it #itsthephotographerscurse #irunthecircus #iwouldnttradethemfortheworld these aren’t outtakes folks. these are the pick of the litter.

at the Easter egg hunt :

easter egg hunt, easter, easter basket

{looks like turbo’s wearing one of those little jewish caps. what are they called? i think it’s a stroller in #reallife}

dying eggs :

easter eggs, easter

{don’t be jealous of my faux candles on my candle-stand-thingys. they’re plastic lemonade cups filled with pencils #classyupinhere}

Jenni - I always love your pics, so bright and fun and your kids are so cute! Totally random question, but I think you have a fake grass lawn? I remember you mentioning it before. Anyway we are about to landscape our yard and we have some major water restrictions in colorado, I am trying to convince my husband to just get a fake lawn, but he is not digging it. Do you have any pros/cons, suggestions, or anything of that sore, would love your input!!

Your Mama - I agree with Patti, your Easter rocked! I love all those pictures that depict “good old, sweet old, wonderful old, life”!!!! I love #thecircus!

Patti - Oh my gosh you just made my not so good nite into a great one!
#thegreatestcutestcirusaroundtown! Love you all…your Easter rocked!
