every other blogger & me

i’d like to welcome back motivation. thank you for being here today. you’ve been missed. i don’t know if i’m the only one who loses it. motivation that is. it’s here one day in great surges and slowly ebbs away the next. perhaps it drifts away to make me more grateful for the times that i am motivated, because when it’s gone, i sure do miss it!

so, please, motivation, sit down. seriously. sit. sit, and stay awhile…

moving on. i’m sure every blogger on the planet is posting pics of their kiddos a la costume right now…every other blogger and me 🙂

if you couldn’t tell, these are ninja turtles {heroes in a half shell, turtle power}. by the end of the night, i thought they looked more like lost boys than anything. but they were happy lost-ninja-turtle-boys. er, wild much?

i love this next picture. sunshine’s face says, i love my crazy brother. turbo’s says, seriously, mom. i love my brother. but stop asking me to hug him.

my little octopus {which, by the way, was the easiest costume to make of-all-time. if you were wondering, buy cheap socks/shirt at walmart. stuff sock with napkins. sew 6 stuffed socks to shirt. paint a face on the shirt…optional. have kid wear 2 socks, wa-la! octopus.} cute octopus, i might add.

and here’s the miracle on halloween street…

…all three kids looking at the camera AT. THE. SAME. TIME. literally, a photog mama miracle.

is anyone else out there as happy as me that halloween is over? i love how exciting it is for the kids. the costumes. the candy. but it does feel like a heck of a lot of work on this end! worth it for sure, but still a lot of work. and now it’s over, and i breath a sigh of relief as we welcome in november…one of my favorite months of the year. the month that focuses on the gratitude we should be surrounding ourselves with all year long. where we celebrate with all things pumpkin, giant balloon parades, turkey dinners and family.

november.

when we remember how blessed we truly are.

and i’m not too cool to admit, i’ve been excited for much too long now for pumpkin ice cream, bacon, and coffee for breakfast while watching the macy’s day parade {dork} what can i say? it’s the little things.

peace out!

stacey - deanne * please do! honestly, it was super easy!

Deanne - What a cute family picture! A pure miracle for sure that they all were able to look at the camera for you. 🙂 oh an octopus costume! I love the idea. 🙂 I am def going to steal this one from you if you don’t mind and pass it on to my ity bitty cousins.

Amy Winter - Not sure if anyone has ever told you this…but you’ve got some seriously cute kids. seriously.!!!

Your Mama - Stacey, thanks for the Halloween pictures of our adorable grandbabies. I also love November and am truly thankful for a lot of the reasons that we celebrate Thanksgiving. But I am so thankful for November 26, 1982, when I held you for the very first time, my first baby, healthy and as anyone can see always happy and now every day spreading that happiness to everyone. I love you!!!
