halloween fun & a blog parade!

do you have fun holiday traditions to kick-start your holidays?? we’re working on getting some halloween traditions started, still searching for our ‘perfect fit’…almost like a holiday tradition dating service : we met online and had a lot in common, so we had our 1st blind date. things went pretty smoothly and the kids got along great, perhaps we’ll see you again for a 2nd date next year little pancake jacks and marshmallow boos!

and the rest of our day? a whirlwind of costumes and candy and friends and fun, a quick bit before our parade!

costumes!  i cannot get enough of my little cowboys. this series cracks. me. up. and all i can hear turbojet saying is :

* i wanna be a cowboy bay-bayyy! *

and a handsome cowboy you are turbojet!

and of course, we have the requisite heart melter…though sweet pea looks a little less than comfy/pleased/sure…

and sweet pea? in the picture above, a police woman…in the picture below, cat-0-lantern {?} with mis-matching, yet cute, leggings hmmmm…still adorable!

{give me a break here my good people…remember? mama of 2 boys for 4.5 years…still easing my way into cute, girly clothes/costumes…perhaps next year i’ll be ready to dive into pink tutu’s and tulle and bows and things…perhaps…}

and super-daddy or the guy from the hangover…you choose…

trick or treat : a candy pit-stop.

and a last minute, ditch effort to get myself into a picture before we closed down shop for the night. another laughable image since sunshine is actually yawning!
