i haven’t done a daily dose in forever. remember when i used to write those once a week? random tidbits of life tied together by pictures. i have a hankering to start them up again. and i like that word : hankering : i think i’ll make it a point to use that friendly little word more often.

i asked sweet pea the other day what she would like for Christmas {it’s a hot topic at our house right now. Christmas. is it at yours? and i’m all like, “whoa, now. we have to celebrate thanksgiving yet.” but neither my kids nor the world seems to care or want to wait…but, i rant…} any hoo, she instantly responded,

a camel.

{what?!} i followed up with some obvious questions. “one hump or two?”

two.

“soft to snuggle? or hard?”

hard. so i can ride it down the sidewalk.

{who’s kid IS this?!} what two year old asks for a hard camel with two humps she can ride down the sidewalk on?! seriously, who’s?

oh. yeah. mine does.

{lover. get busy finding that camel.}

we busted out our sensory bin last week. i forgot how magic they are. if you have a toddler, please make a sensory bin. it may be messy, but it keeps them busy for at least 20 minutes and that’s like gold baby. pure gold.

i’m FINALLY, FINALLY almost ready to release my new template. i haven’t said much about it because it’s taken me so long to design, but it’s finally close enough i can let the cat out of the bag, woot!

we have a new cat in town. it happens to be gray and looks just like romeo only 2x smaller, fluffier and a girl.

naturally, her name is juliet.

she showed up at our door one day and pulled a complete april fools on my grown husband who thought it was romeo {did i mention the cat is 2x smaller and fluffier?  oh, lover.} juliet is a sweet little thing though, so i think we’ll keep her around.

turbo finally lost his first tooth {he did have one pulled earlier in the year. you may remember the tooth fairy disaster of 2013.} this time the tooth fairy-ing went smoothly. and everyone is happy.

despite my best efforts to not influence the boys with my stance on montana {ahem…it’s awesome. and i love it. and i want to move there. super. bad. right. now.}, seriously, i try to keep it to myself. completely of their own accord, they have established a *montana pigee bank* to raise money so we can move to montana.

they’re now accepting donations.

social media has been bothering me lately. i’ve been avoiding it more than usual. it has felt good to release myself from it’s sometimes {always} greedy grasp of my time. that’s all.
