moving to america & a belly laugh

it’s already thursday. we fly home tonight. i should be packing. but i don’t need to…yet, because i actually know what time we’re leaving today {insert : cheering}

our time always goes too fast here, and while i try so, so hard not to rub off on the boys, they are getting old enough to understand for themselves how awesome montana really is…

turbo : i don’t want to go back to arizona. i hate arizona. i LOVE montana.

me : what do you love about montana?

turbo : well, it’s cold here. and they have basements, but not attics…do they have attics?

me : yep.

turbo : OH! they have basements AND attics and it snows here. that’s why.

meanwhile in the background…

sunshine : when I’M bigger, i’m moving to AMERICA.

turbo : we’re IN america sunshine.

sunshine : no. america’s far, far away.

hrmmmm, maybe they don’t quite get it yet…but we’re getting there! i’ll leave you with that and me asking for a few prayers for less screaming and more sleeping from sweet pea this go-around.

…that’s not true. i’m actually leaving you with this. this is what goes on on an airplane when you’re too pre-occupied with your screaming 1 year old to know what your 5 year old is up to. get ready for an ab workout.

cheers!
