teaching a new girl, new tricks

over the 4th of july, my one and only niece of the canine persuasion was up visiting {as well as my nephews of the human persuasion, more pictures of them in another post!

sweet pea is in the copying stage of life where everything anyone does she wants to try her *sewf.* this phase might also be known as, *the-extremely-independant-stage-where-she-wants-help-from-no-one-and-even-tries-to-put-on-her-own-diaper* stage.

ah yes, THAT stage.

little did i know that due to this stage, sweet pea would be copying some awesome new tricks from her canine cousin 😉 thankfully my camera was nearby to catch it all {more reasons to lug my camera around}.

if you’re a germaphobe, stop reading right about…now.
peek a boo.
you may not be able to teach an old dog new tricks, but you most definitely can teach a new girl, new ones.

cheers *

Amy Winter - OH MY GOSH!!! These are SOOOOOO funny!

Amy - Great photos! We have a 1 1/2 year old who does the same thing. He copies so many things that our three dogs do. He eats his food straight off the table sometimes without picking it up first, carries things around in his mouth and after seeing one of our dogs spin around in circles in front of the back door to go outside, Jackson started doing the same thing when he wanted to go outside! Ha. Too funny.
