bon voyage! * 2011 roadtrip

when you read this, we’ll probably already have been driving for a couple hours {or 5!} and will have officially kicked off our 2011 roadtrip. roadtrips. ah! got to love ’em! the boys have been excited for WEEKS. literally. i don’t think a day has gone by in the past 2-3 weeks that i haven’t heard, ‘go to montana?’  they are SO excited. we’ll see if their excitement holds once they realize they will be contained in a car for 18+ hours  ;o)

one of the things i like to do when we go on our roadtrips is to make the boys a map. this way they can start to familiarize themselves with the U.S. of A. print one of these bad boys out. slide it into a plastic sleeve. hand the boys a dry erase marker and let them trace the route as we go {or scribble, but who’s keeping track?}  wa-la! instant learning tool slash entertainment…here’s this years map…
